Yeah, it could kill you if you overdo it. As for the experience, try this:
Shake your skipper back and forth as briskly as you can for about 20 second (assuming you can stand it), then appropriate your hands and close your eyes, press the 'heel' of your mitt as tightly as you can against your eyes until you see spots. While looking at the swirling spots, try to identify city skylines, or constellations. After about a minute, steal your hands away and undo your eyes. Now, cross your eyes so that everything is 'double.' Shake your head again, impressively very in haste.
The only entity you can't really replicate are the hallucinations (spiders and snakes you see when there's nought there). Scary as heck, just ake sure that if you DO drop tart, you have a trusted, sober friend just round the corner!
