I have not long started drinking green tea and was wondering if anyone know the best way to dry the tea leaves after the first or second infusion? I don't want them to procure stale or anything. I know that you are supposed to keep them contained by a dark place until use, but it's firm to do that when you are trying to dry them after the first or second uses. Is it even necessary at that point? What is the best path to dry green tea leaves after the first infusion?
Hi Lori, yes you can to dry green tea leaves after the first infusion within a dry, dark place, but green tea leaves not standard to dry. After you have empty the teapot completely for the first serving, the wet leaves will not verbs to steep. You can infuse the leaves again.

Spread the leaves in a sinewy layer on a treatise towel. Put a plate under the newspaper towel to keep the occupied liquid from possibly staining your counter top. The thinner the section of leaves, the faster they'll dry...don't let them stay dripping, they'll mildew. Of course, spreading the leaves means taking them out of the teabag unless you're using loose stock.
How masses infusions can you get from a standard tea purse before the leaves are spent? I'd love to bring back more than a couple uses from my teabags
