I know that they use a holistic approach to treat illness, but what is involved surrounded by the day to hours of daylight clinical aspects of Naturopathy? Can Naturopaths enter the military? What are the career outlooks and earn potential for Naturopathic physicians? What would a Naturopathic physician do?
Since most insurance doesn't cover trips to see a naturopath, the patient pays out of pocket.
Earning potential is relatively good if your at a reputable practice, and believe it or not, it tend to help if the naturopath also have MD. Why? Do the math.
I think both are advantageous, individually, but I tend to err towards naturopathy, myself. If you are looking at a career within such field, appointment one up and see if they'll answer some questions for you. Also, the most prestigious naturopathic institution in the country is Bastyr University located within Washington state.
I hope this helps a bit.
I'm an R.N. and I use a Naturapath. I detest taking medicine and love self told what food, vitamin, herb, etc. Will take comfort of a problem. I also have seriously of muscle/joint problems, and an hour with him take away the pain for months! I enjoy severe carpal tunnel syndrome and he can "cure" the pain/numbness for a year or more! My naturapath lives comfortably, but he spends money on world travel, etc. This is an awesome field and I am worried what will arise when mine passes away.
