What is polyphasic sleep?
Polyphasic sleep is when the individual sleeps at different intervals during the day; or to some extent, naps. The duration of respectively nap is just about 20-25 minutes, and they are spread out throughout the day surrounded by place of a long, full sleeping period as most of us filch during the night. In my view, this is unhealthy because the individual does not accomplish all stages of sleep -- not every stage is alike! REM (rapid eye movement) is the most considerable stage; individuals who practice polyphasic sleep do not experience REM.
Polyphasic sleep is a sleep pattern specification intended to dull sleep time to 2–5 hours daily. This is achieve by spreading out sleep into short naps of around 20–45 minutes throughout the daytime. This is supposed to allow for more waking hours near relatively high alertness
